PA610 + 20% CF (20% carbon fiber reinforced PA610) is a high-performance engineering plastic modified by adding 20% chopped carbon fiber to neat PA610. It perfectly combines the advantages of PA610’s low moisture absorption, dimensional stability and oil resistance with carbon fiber’s high strength, high rigidity, lightweight and electrical conductivity, making it an ideal material for high-end precision structural parts and lightweight metal replacement.

I. Core Properties (PA610 + 20% CF)
Density: 1.20–1.22 g/cm³ (about 55% lighter than aluminum)
Water absorption (saturation): < 0.8% (much lower than PA6/PA66, extremely stable dimensions)
Tensile strength: 150–170 MPa (2–2.5 times that of neat PA610)
Flexural modulus: 9,000–10,000 MPa (high rigidity, low deformation)
Heat deflection temperature (HDT, 1.8 MPa): 190–210 °C
Coefficient of linear thermal expansion: very low (close to metal, minimal dimensional change with temperature)
Friction & wear resistance: self-lubricating, low abrasion (better than neat PA)
Electrical conductivity: Volume resistivity 10³–10⁵ Ω·cm (antistatic / electromagnetic shielding)
Chemical resistance: resistant to oil, fuel, weak acids, alkalis and solvents
